This handout is an attempt to provide students of English Language II with additional material for Unit 4: Leisure. It contains extra reading and language practice so as to enable students to have access to additional information on the topics included in this unit, to enlarge their vocabulary, and to practise certain grammatical structures. In addition, exercises on the movie Billy Eliot and the short-story Manhood have been incorporated with the purpose of offering a wide variety of materials and source texts, and of integrating skills, which is one of the objectives of this course. Finally, this collection should be used as a complement to the textbook and the other materials currently used in the course. We truly hope this compilation can aid students in the process of language acquisition and development of the four skills.
