During the past thirty years, there has been a revolution in the way in whitch language can be studients.Due to the rapid development in the ability of computers to handele large amounts of language data, it is now pssible to buils language coepora which allows EFL teachers and students to students to analyse how the language is being used at the present time, or, indeed, how it was used at particular times in the past. This article will attempt to marke both teachers and students awerw of the importance of corpus linguistics and corpus - based analysis when studying English grammar.
