Interfacing Phonology and Orthography: A Pedagogical Proposal

In this paper, I propose a number of activities to systematize the teaching of pronunciation in relation to spelling. However, prior to this, I mention some historical reasons for the differences between spelling and pronunciation and pedagogically justify the choice of this topic for instruction.
